What private label means at MakeaLabel
Private label sits between blanks and fully custom production. The base garment, its pattern, fit and fabric, is one we already produce. Your branding makes it yours: woven neck labels, printed or embroidered logos, hangtags and care labels with your name on them. Because the base is proven, sampling is fast and the risk of fit problems is low.
Indicative from-prices at a tier of 50 pieces, excluding VAT: t-shirts from €12, sweaters from €22, joggers from €24, hoodies from €25. Smaller runs are possible from 10 pieces per style at a higher unit price. Your quote states the exact price for your specification, so you compare specifications rather than loose numbers.
When private label is the right choice
Choose private label when you want to launch or test a collection quickly under your own name and the standard fits work for your audience. Choose fully custom production when the garment itself is the differentiator: a specific fit, an unusual fabric or construction details that no standard style covers. Many brands start private label and move to custom once sales prove the concept.
We produce in Turkey, Italy, Portugal and China and advise per project which country fits your volume, budget and quality requirements. EU production in Portugal is available for small premium runs, with no import duties.
