Guide

Clothing manufacturer Belgium

Which clothing manufacturers are there in Belgium?

Belgium still has a number of small garment workshops, and they are often pleasant partners: short lines, quick decisions and someone you can visit. You may already know the downside from your first quotes: a minimum of 50 to 200 pieces per style, with the price per piece that comes with it.

For a brand that is starting out, testing a new style or working in drops, that is an awkward combination. You buy a whole season of stock before you know which sizes and colours sell. So when choosing a clothing manufacturer, don't look at the price per piece alone, but at the minimum too.

Can a Belgian brand have clothing made from 10 pieces?

Yes. We are not a workshop around the corner, but a production partner with our own workshop in Turkey, with no agents or traders in between; we produce in Turkey, Italy, Portugal and China, the other countries on request.

That is why we make from 10 pieces per style per colour on our base model, and you can combine styles within one production run: you test small, you repeat what works and you are not left with leftover stock.

You send us your design or your idea, we make the tech pack and send you a sample first. Only once you approve do we start the bulk.

How does delivery to Belgium work?

In practice, little changes if your brand is based in Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels or Hasselt: your project runs exactly as it does for brands in Amsterdam or brands in Rotterdam. We send samples to your Belgian address and deliver the bulk wherever you want: your studio, warehouse, shop or fulfilment partner. Contact runs through WhatsApp or email.

Only shipping and invoicing are agreed separately. Shipping is added per box; what it costs to your address and how long transport takes is stated explicitly in your quote, so you know where you stand in advance.

What Belgian brands ask us

How is VAT handled for a Belgian business?

Mention in your request that you are based in Belgium and, for a business order, your VAT number. We state the invoicing method and the VAT treatment explicitly in your quote, so your bookkeeping can work with it straight away.

How long does production take for a Belgian brand?

Allow at least 5 to 6 weeks per sample round and then at least 5 to 6 weeks of bulk production, each time after payment, depending on the style, the run size and the branding.

Can we communicate in Dutch?

Yes, your whole project runs in Dutch. You simply give corrections on a sample in your own words; we translate them into production specifications for the factory.
