In short

We produce in Turkey, Italy, Portugal and China, with most production in our own workshop in Turkey. Your sample comes first, at least 5 to 6 weeks after payment; after your approval and payment, production also takes at least 5 to 6 weeks.

What makes a t-shirt premium?

With a t-shirt there is nothing to hide behind: no lining, no zip, no construction to distract the eye. How the fabric feels (the hand feel), what it weighs and how it hangs decides whether your brand comes across as premium.

That is why we make your shirt in 100% cotton. From 10 pieces that is our base style in heavy jersey of 220 to 260 GSM, boxy fit, so straight and roomy. For larger quantities you can also choose a different weave or weight, from a light ringspun basic to an ultra heavy tee.

How do you get your own t-shirt made?

You start from our base style and make it yours with your print and neck label, in black, cream or white. Your own fit, cotton or colour is possible for larger quantities. We record those choices in a tech pack, make your sample and then arrange production and delivery.

Every other piece in your line follows the same route; all routes side by side are on our custom clothing manufacturer page.

If bags or caps are part of your drop, take a look at custom tote bags and custom caps.

Where are your t-shirts made?

We make small runs and most production in our own workshop in Turkey. The other countries on request, if they suit your run size or quality requirements better.

Turkey

China

Portugal

European production · on request

Regular partners with short lines of communication to the Netherlands; audit reports (such as BSCI) are available on request. Strong in GOTS cotton and premium series.

Questions about custom t-shirts

From how many pieces can I have t-shirts made?

From 10 pieces per style and per colour, on our base style with your print and a printed neck label, in black, cream or white. Other colours are possible from 40 pieces per colour. In a run of ten you choose two sizes, for example five medium and five large. The same shirt in three colours counts as three times ten pieces, because each colour needs its own fabric batch and machine setup. A fully custom pattern is possible from 150 to 200 pieces per style and colour.

How much does a custom t-shirt cost?

From 10 pieces, a t-shirt costs €29.99 per piece, with your print and a printed neck label, excluding VAT. Embroidery costs €5 per piece extra, and each extra print position €2. Other fabrics, colours and larger quantities get a custom price. The sample beforehand costs €150. Send your style, your choice of cotton and your quantities, and within one working day you get a quote.

Is this the same as printing t-shirts?

No. When you print t-shirts, a printer puts your design on an existing blank shirt: the supplier decides the fabric, the weight, the fit and the label in the neck, you only decide the print. When you have t-shirts made, we produce the shirt ourselves, with your print and your own neck label; for larger quantities also with your cotton, GSM, fit and colour. That takes a sample phase and more preparation, and it gives you a shirt nobody else can order.

Which GSM do I choose for my t-shirt?

From 10 pieces we make your shirt in heavy jersey of 220 to 260 GSM. For larger quantities we work from 140 to 320 GSM. Around 140 to 160 GSM a shirt is thin and mainly suited to promotion or a one-off event, 180 to 200 GSM is the standard basic, 220 to 240 GSM is the popular choice for premium streetwear, and 260 to 320 GSM hangs boxy and feels luxurious. The heavier, the higher the cost price, so choose what fits your price point. You feel the difference best in your sample.

Do I get a sample first before bulk starts?

We always recommend it. You get a custom sample with your print or embroidery, so you can judge fabric, weight and fit; your own neck label only comes in production. Count on at least 5 to 6 weeks after payment. After your approval, production of the rest of your run starts. If you would rather go straight into production, that is possible too.

How long does it take to have t-shirts made?

Count on at least 5 to 6 weeks of production after your approved sample and payment, depending on the style, the production country and the run size; that also applies in Turkey. Add the sample stage of at least 5 to 6 weeks to that.

All 7 questions

What is the difference with printing a blank t-shirt?

Speed versus uniqueness. Printing a blank shirt is possible from a few pieces and is often the smartest route for a single event; we are honest about that. But fabric, weight, fit and labels then come from the catalogue, and the same shirt can be sold by dozens of other brands. Want to print yourself? Our blank tees are ready in the wholesale range, per pack of 8 pieces and delivered in 1 to 2 working days. Our comparison page on custom-made or printed clothing puts both routes side by side on seven points.
