In short
We produce in Turkey, Italy, Portugal and China, with most production in our own workshop in Turkey. Your sample comes first, at least 5 to 6 weeks after payment; after your approval and payment, production also takes at least 5 to 6 weeks.
What is the difference between a jumper, sweater and crewneck?
There is no difference: in Dutch we say trui, in British English jumper, and in the factory it is called a crewneck sweater. It is the same garment, with a round neck, long sleeves and rib-knit trims at the neck, cuffs and hem.
If you want the same product with a hood, you end up with our hoodies. Add matching joggers and we turn it into a complete set.
How do you recognise a good sweater?
A crewneck has no hood, no zip and no pockets to distract the eye. What remains is the fabric, the drape and the finish of the ribbing. That is why a sweater is the most honest test of your production: if it feels thin and limp, your whole brand looks that way.
We make sweaters in 100% cotton fleece: from 10 pieces our base style in heavy fleece of 450 GSM, oversized boxy fit, and for larger quantities anything from airy french terry to ultra heavy cotton that stands up on its own. With ribbed trims, double-stitched hems and a shoulder that does not sag after the third wash.
How do you get your own sweater made?
In a tech pack you record what you want: the position and size of your logo, your neck label and, for larger quantities, also the fit, the sleeve construction and the width of the ribbing. From 10 pieces you start on our base style in an oversized boxy fit. We make a sample of it, so you have the fabric, fit and finish in your own hands first.
What do you wear under and over a sweater?
Under a crewneck you often wear a tee, and for a smarter look a polo. If you want those under your own label too, we make custom t-shirts, from 10 pieces, and custom polo shirts, from 35.
For the layer on top, we make custom jackets, from coach jacket to puffer. And on your head goes a cap with your embroidered logo, from 150 pieces per style.
Where are your sweaters made?
We make small runs and most production in our own workshop in Turkey. The other countries on request, if they suit your run size, budget or quality requirements better.
Turkey | Our own workshop · at least 5 to 6 weeks | Our most chosen location for fleece: top-quality cotton, sharp prices and short lines of communication. Strong in heavyweight crewnecks for growing brands. |
|---|---|---|
Italy | Premium & luxury · on request | For garment dye, washed finishes and refined ribbing. The choice when your sweater has to sit on the shelf next to luxury brands. |
China | Scale & complexity · on request | For large runs and heavy branding: multi-colour embroidery, puff prints, all-over prints and custom trims. Only with verified factories. |
Portugal | European production · on request | Regular partners with short lines of communication to the Netherlands; audit reports (such as BSCI) are available on request. Strong in GOTS cotton and premium series. |
Questions about custom sweaters
What is the difference between a sweater and a hoodie?
Only the hood and the drawcord. The fabrics, the weights, the minimum order and the branding options are the same, so you can have both made from the same fabric batch for a collection that fits together.
How much does a custom sweater cost?
From 10 pieces, a sweater costs €39.99 per piece, with your print and a printed neck label, excluding VAT. Embroidery costs €5 per piece extra, and each extra print position €2. Other fabrics, colours and larger quantities get a custom price. The sample beforehand costs €250. Send your style and quantities, and within one working day you get a quote.
Which GSM do I choose for a sweater?
From 10 pieces we make your sweater in heavy fleece of 450 GSM. For larger quantities you choose yourself: for a light sweater you wear indoors, french terry of 280 to 340 GSM works well. If you are looking for the standard premium crewneck, you are around 360 to 400 GSM. If you want a heavy, oversized look, go towards 420 to 480 GSM.
Can I combine sweaters and hoodies in the same order?
Yes. As long as you reach the minimum order of 10 pieces per style, you can combine styles within one production. That is often logistically cheaper than two separate runs too.
Is embroidery or print better on a crewneck?
Embroidery gives a premium, tactile result and is strong on fleece; print is sharper for graphic designs and large artwork. In your sample you see the technique on your fabric before production starts.
