Custom club apparel

How many pieces do you need for custom club apparel?

Hoodies, sweaters, T-shirts and long sleeves are made from 10 pieces per style and per colour: enough for one eleven-a-side team, one indoor team, one coaching staff or one board. A cotton tracksuit, with jacket and trousers from the same fabric batch, is made from 25 sets, polos from 35, and kits and training wear in technical sports fabric from 150 to 200 per style and colour.

For a club, a minimum is not a financial question but an organisational one. You don't buy to sell; you kit out a group that will be made up differently again next season. A high minimum makes you buy stock for members who aren't there yet.

With 10 pieces per style you order hoodies and tees per group instead of per club: the youth teams their training shirts, the coaching staff their hoodies and the board their sweaters, all in the same club style, in a run that matches the number of people wearing it. If you're also looking for items for the club shop or for supporters, read more about custom merchandise.

What is the difference between custom and printed club apparel?

Almost everything offered online as club apparel is printed stock clothing: an existing shirt in an existing colour, with your logo on it. That works fine for a tournament, but gets stuck when the club colour isn't quite right, when the style is out of the range next year or when there's a blank manufacturer's label in the neck.

We don't print bought-in stock clothing. With us, custom clothing means that we produce the garment ourselves, with no agents or traders in between: we produce in Turkey, Italy, Portugal and China, most of it in our own workshop in Turkey. That makes the label and the print, and with larger quantities also colour, fit and fabric weight, a choice rather than a given.

If you mainly need performance gear for a sports brand or gym, such as moisture-wicking tees, shorts and zip jackets, then custom sportswear is the better place to start. If you're kitting out a company rather than a club, take a look at custom workwear or corporate uniforms. This page is about the club around it: the planning, the sponsors, issuing the kit and reordering.

How do you put sponsor logos on club apparel?

A club shirt rarely carries just one logo. This is how we record the branding, so every group presents the same look.

  • Club colours as a colour code

The colour is recorded as a code rather than as a description. Dyeing exactly to your colour code is possible from 500 pieces; below that, we get as close to your club colour as possible.

  • Several logos on one piece

    Chest, sleeve, back

Club logo, main sponsor and secondary sponsors in different positions, each with the size and technique that suits the material. We record the positions in centimetres.

  • Print or embroidery per position

Screen printing, DTF or embroidery. For each logo we decide what holds up best on the fabric and the spot where it sits. For hoodies and tees one print position is included in the price; each extra position costs €2 per piece.

  • Your own club label in the neck

A printed neck label with the club name, instead of the label of a blanks supplier; woven or embossed is possible at an extra cost.

  • Names and shirt numbers

    Ask us about it

We confirm individual personalisation per piece for each production, together with the technique and the planning that go with it.

  • Colours, placements, size chart and labels are fixed, so a reorder later in the season runs on exactly the same specifications.

When should you order club apparel for the new season?

Club apparel has one hard deadline: the first match. This order keeps you from waiting for a sample in August.

  • Start well before the seasonAllow at least 5 to 6 weeks for the sample plus at least 5 to 6 weeks for production, each after payment, and add the decision-making within your club.
  • Decide on colour and style firstColour codes and the choice of style are the slowest decisions in a club; the rest follows naturally after that.
  • Collect the sponsor logos as vector filesA logo that arrives late in usable quality holds up the whole order.
  • One point of contact for the clubWe work with one contact person per project; within a club, that cuts out most of the noise.

What clubs and associations ask us

Can we order different sizes within 10 pieces?

Partly. With a run of ten you choose two sizes, for example five medium and five large; the full size range from S to XXL belongs with a larger run. Adding up two colours to reach 10 isn't possible: each colourway is its own production round with its own fabric batch.

Can we reorder later in the season?

Yes. A second round runs on the same tech pack, so in the same colour and with the same placements. The minimum per style still applies. New members join all year round, so it pays to bundle them per round.

What does custom club apparel cost?

That depends on the style (a match shirt, a polo or a complete tracksuit), the fabric and the number of pieces per style. From 10 pieces a hoodie costs €39.99 and a T-shirt €29.99, with one print and a printed neck label, excluding VAT; each extra print position costs €2 per piece and embroidery €5. Kits in sports fabric, polos and tracksuits get a custom price. A sample of the kit costs from €150, depending on the style.
