How to get into the Makerclass.
The Makerclass starts on 1 December 2026. First the Starterclass, then the Makerclass. With your Starterclass certificate you apply in the learning environment, with three things:

Questions about the Makerclass
When does the Makerclass start?
On 1 December 2026. You apply with your Starterclass certificate; once you are invited, you start from the launch date.
Can I already see what is in it?
Not yet. We are making the lessons now. The Makerclass starts on 1 December 2026; until then, this page only tells you what it is about and how to get in.
How do I get into the Makerclass?
By invitation, with fixed rules: you have the Starterclass certificate, you show that you took the steps (for example per phase, not every step) and you give the link to your shop. There's no limit on places. Have all three and we'll invite you.
What does the Makerclass cost?
€499, or €400 after the Starterclass, including VAT: you only pay the difference. You get €50 credit on your first sample at MakeaLabel. You pay nothing now: the Makerclass is by invitation, and you only pay once you are invited, by invoice.
How does the €50 credit work?
With the Makerclass you get €50 credit on your first sample. The credit comes off your first sample at MakeaLabel in one go: a sample always costs more than €50. It is valid for 6 months after you buy the Makerclass. You can have your clothing made anywhere; the credit only applies with us.
Do I get a discount as an alumnus?
Yes, if you pass the exam. Pass the Makerclass final exam and, as a MakeaLabel alumnus, you get a 5% discount on your purchases from MakeaLabel. That is an extra benefit, on top of your certificate. With the Starterclass it is 2%, with the Masterclass 10%. The discount applies for two years after your exam, on production and blank garments from our wholesale range, not on samples. If you pass more than one class, the highest percentage applies. The team puts the discount on your quote, not on top of other promotions or sharp prices for large quantities.
